Update: Beginning in September, I will be joining Masaryk University in Brno as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow. I look forward to working under the supervision of Pavel Caha on my new project, Mapping complexity in language.
I’m a visiting lecturer at the linguistics department at UMass Amherst. I got my Ph.D. from MIT in August 2025.
I work mostly on semantics and its interfaces with pragmatics, syntax and morphology. Topics I’ve written about include presupposition accommodation, number marking, relevance, and definteness. I think that my main research motivation is identifying the fundamental processes involved in our knowledge of language.
